School
Safety Program
As a service to our communities, Columbia REA launched a School
Safety Program in 2003. Columbia REA offers this public awareness
program featuring an electrical safety presentation for sixth grade
students, community groups, and emergency services personnel.
The goal of the program is to facilitate awareness and understanding
of electricity, its wise and efficient uses, and the safety precautions
to be followed to avoid high voltage electrical hazards.
